Neurodiversity-Affirming Interventions That Build on Strengths
Support for ADHD, autism and learning differences should reduce shame and increase fit — not force a child or adult to look “typical.” We design practical routines, sensory-aware plans and school–home collaboration.
- Format: Child · Teen · Adult · Parent-inclusive
- Used when: ADHD, autism or learning needs require intervention planning beyond a label.
- Sessions: Strengths-based · Environment + skills
The method
What This Pathway Is
Neurodiversity-affirming support assumes difference is real and that environments often need change alongside skills. We do not treat “compliance” as the only success metric.
Work may include executive function strategies, sensory-informed routines, emotion regulation adapted to profile, parent coaching, and school recommendations when consented.
Assessment often informs this pathway. If you need clarity first, start with Assessments; return here for intervention design.

Who It Fits
- Families after ADHD, autism or learning assessment
- Parents seeking affirming (not punitive) strategies
- Teens and adults wanting practical ADHD/executive support
- Schools collaborating on realistic accommodations
Affirming support does not replace medical care, educational board decisions or specialised therapies when those are indicated. Recommendations are collaborative and context-dependent.
